Cascade Mountain/
Camp Gray Ski Trip
January 12-14, 2007

When is a ski trip not just a ski trip? When it's Troop 69's annual ski outing! Troop 69 and a few members from “sister” Venture Crew 690 traveled to Reedsburg, Wisconsin, where we stayed at Camp Gray and spent the entire Saturday skiing at Cascade Mountain.

Scouts get ready for the big day tomorrow!
Time to eat a big, hearty breakfast and make lunches for later.
Scoutmasters, parents, scouts, and crew members put on their gear and hit the slopes!
		Ouch!
After a full-day on the slopes, it's time to sit back and get warm by the fire.
My feet are cold and boy does this fire feel good!		Is that steam coming off my socks?
After a long day of skiing, it's time to head back to Camp Gray an grab some dinner!
The Scouts get their second wind after dinner so it's off to the Camp Gray's gym for a game of basketball.		Some of Crew 690 had to study for finals.
Some of the boys enjoyed a late-night card game.
Next morning, the Camp Gray staff served us breakfast.
It's Sunday morning, time to load up the cars. The Caravan has to get back to Palatine in time to watch the Bears win! We'll be back next year.
