Troops 21, 69, and 461 were proud to serve as one of the units responsible for organizing this year's event. Twenty-eight patrols from a dozen different units competed on Saturday in a day-long test of Scoutcraft skills and Scout Spirit (as well as hypothermia-avoidance!). Congratulations are in order to our two prize-winning patrols. Patrol 69, led by PL Claude R and APL Tom L, took third place in the sawing competition. The Border Patrol, led by PL Steve B and APL Adam H, with an assist from Assistant SPL Aldridge M, took first place in the main dish category of Saturday evening's cook-off for their Key West Citrus Pork Ribs (it was a landslide victory!). Thanks to CM Jeff M and ASM Jim H for attending the Camporee with the Troop. And special thanks to ASM Dick A who in addition to attending the camporee, served on the planning committee, and Kris C, who also attended the camporee and split enough firewood to assemble more than 50 kits for the fire building competition.
