Mr. Cramer makes Golden Nugget Soup to warm cold Scouts on an -8 degree night.
The Scouts stayed in Cabin #3 and the adults stayed in Cabin #1.
It was cold outside but warm and cozy in cabin #3. Senior Patrol Leader Neil H. teaches Scouts Spence M., Zack M., Billy K., and Jon C. a new card game.
Tired Scouts get ready for bed.
Skittles was the hands down favorite evening game in the mess hall. How many pins could the Scouts knock down with the spinning top. One patrol leader got the top going so fast it flew out of the box.

One patrol made french toast for breakfast.
The Scouts learned how to perform the Flag Ceremony inside first where it was warm. A very cold raising of the flag on a below zero day.
After a quarter mile nature walk the Scouts identify what trees they found by classifying the leaves they picked up.

The Scouts prepared "Hobo" meals in foil pouches for dinner. The main ingredient of a Hobo meal is lots of potatoes!

While the scouts dined on Hobo meals the adults feasted on Mr.  Cramer's Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoons.
The Scouts worked very hard cleaning. Every pot and pan was pulled out of the patrol boxes in the troop trailer. Every piece of cookware the troop owned was scrubed down to bare metal. Mess kits were organized and reassembled. On the next troop outing each patrol will have a complete clean mess kit in their patrol box.
